Sanatorium "Belorusija" offers varied, nutritious and dietary food. When compiling and selecting therapeutic nutrition, various profiles, stages of the disease and individual preferences of vacationers were taken into account.
The menu includes various hot dishes, soups, snacks. The diet is selected by the doctor individually for each Guest, based on his diagnosis.
Medical nutrition has a beneficial effect on your well-being and can improve the result of the entire complex of spa therapy. A properly selected diet can prevent various diseases, as well as prevent the development of many diseases.
We are pleased to offer you a varied dietary food according to the following diets - basic diet (B), diet for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and biliary system (P), diet for renal diseases (N), diet for overweight, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus (D). The sanatorium also offers a special menu for weight loss and a menu for children.

Basic diet (B)
(analogue of the numbering system Diet No. 15)
Characteristics: a physiologically complete diet, energy value, content of proteins, fats and carbohydrates correspond to the nutritional standards for a healthy person.
Purpose of appointment: providing physiologically adequate nutrition.
The main indications for the appointment: diseases and conditions that do not require special therapeutic diets.
Diet for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and biliary system (P)
(analogue of the numbering system Diet No. 5)
Characteristics: a physiologically complete diet with mechanical, chemical and thermal sparing of the digestive organs. The principle of sparing is achieved by excluding products with a strong sokogonny effect, containing spices and coarse fiber.
Basic cooking methods: food is cooked boiled, steamed or baked.
Purpose of appointment: creation of favorable conditions for the normalization of impaired functions of the digestive system.
The main indications for the appointment: diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas.
Diet for renal disease (N)
(analogue of the numbering system Diet No. 7, 10)
Feature: diet restricted to sodium chloride, liquid, potassium and phosphorus.
Basic cooking methods: food is prepared practically without salt, in boiled, steamed or baked form.
Purpose of appointment: prevention of development and reduction of sodium and fluid retention, moderate effect on renal function.
The main indications for the appointment: kidney disease.

Diet for overweight, cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus (D)
(analogue of the numbering system Diet No. 8, 9)
Characteristics: a diet with restriction of easily digestible carbohydrates (sugar-containing foods and drinks, flour and pasta, refined cereals, potatoes), animal fats, cholesterol and table salt. Increased content of dietary fiber (vegetables, fruits, whole grain cereals, legumes).
Basic cooking methods: food is cooked boiled, steamed or baked.
Purpose of appointment: weight loss, correction of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism.
The main indications for the appointment: overweight, metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease and arterial hypertension.
Diet for weight loss
We offer a nutrition program for healthy weight correction. The diet is intended for moderate weight loss (0.5-1 kg per week) under the supervision of specialists. Rapid weight loss can cause serious illness and lower metabolic rate. We prefer moderate weight loss as there are positive effects on both health and metabolism.
As part of the program, you will be determined the optimal weight, the required amount of energy and will be assigned an individual menu of the sanatorium. The dietitian will suggest the most appropriate strategy to achieve your goal and provide detailed advice on how to continue your diet at home.
Feature: The diet is limited in energy, digestible carbohydrates and animal fats.
